Heather M. Costello, PhD, is a bioinformatician within the systems and data integration team at the Steve and Cindy Rasmussen Institute for Genomic Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She received her PhD from the Ohio State University and worked as a molecular virologist and protein biochemist for nearly a decade before transitioning to computational biology in 2021. Heather’s bioinformatic experience includes large dataset transcriptomics, pipeline development, and data management.
