The SARSTEDT BL 1200 SORT CONNECT is a pre-analytical accessioning and sorting instrument that can be connected to integrated systems or analyzer lines. The unit’s bulk loader aims to eliminate manual pre-racking, and multiple tube sizes are accepted, with capped tubes simply poured into the loader for processing. Tubes are singularized and the tube type and bar code are identified. The tubes are sorted into targeted analyzer racks and a robot arm transfers them to the laboratory line. Samples not destined for the laboratory line are placed into racks or bins for manual extraction. Up to 1200 tubes can be processed per hour.
