Bio-Rad Laboratories launches the first workbook in a series that offers PACE credits. As a digitally interactive series, it is designed to enable laboratory professionals to learn and pursue a higher standard in laboratory quality control (QC). The QC Workbook concept maintains a goal of providing lab professionals with the training and education necessary to maintain reliable and accurate QC test results.

The first educational installment provides the foundational knowledge needed to better understand the recommended QC statistics and support the reliability of patient results. Lab professionals can receive a certificate upon successful completion of a short exam at the end of the workbook, earning 2.5 contact hours. Future workbook topics will cover a variety of topics, including QC materials, cost of quality, and more.
