Revvity’s LabChip AAV Empty/Full characterization solution offers transmission microscopy (TEM), analytical ultracentrifugation (AUC), charge-based chromatographic techniques, and UV absorbance spectroscopy. The LabChip GXII Touch Characterization System is a microfluidic capillary electrophoresis-based solution that enables rapid, high-throughput empty/full analysis with a low volume AAV input. Microliter-sized samples are collected and analyzed in microfluidic channels measuring both proteins and nucleic acids in less than 1 minute per sample. The high-throughput capability of the system enables the determination of product purity, protein stoichiometry, and empty/full analysis for up to 96 total samples per run.As an all-in-one solution, the system analyzes both DNA and proteins to assess the concentration, purity, VP stoichiometry, and empty/full ratio of the AAV capsid in purified samples.
