The US FDA has approved the use of two additional cell isolation instruments with PerkinElmer’s T-Cell Select reagent kit (distributed by Oxford Immunotec), expanding options available to laboratories to automate latent tuberculosis (TB) detection workflows. The Auto-Pure 24 and Auto-Pure 20B platforms are manufactured by Allsheng Instruments. With this latest approval, laboratories may now use Auto-Pure instrumentation, which offers plate- or strip-based sample preparation to meet variable throughput requirements. This capability aims to further optimize workflow efficiency, reduce hands-on time, and minimize labor and resource costs.
